“YES, FOR MY SOUL”
I find my God in each dewdrop,
And in each sun ray that streaks across the sky,
I see Him at the waters edge,
As I watch the ebb and flow of the tide,
And, on the glassy water of a smooth plain of lake,
I catch His creative spirit in butterfly and bird wings,
And hear His gently call in a bees buzz,
I see His love in chipmunk and squirrel eyes,
And when I look into the eyes of dogs and cats, He rests there too,
I capture a true sense of His being each time I see the sun and moon rise and set,
And I wonder how much I have missed; oh, the regret,
Each flower, each tree, each valley, hill and vale,
Belongs to its Creator,
I look at my hands and marvel at their precision,
The things they can perform,
And I thank God for each knuckle and nail,
Can there be any less thanks and love for my life?
Yes, I see Him in the dewdrops and each mist that cast its spell,
I capture His presence with each breath I breathe,
And thank Him for my inner depth, my soul,
