“ENJOY THE SEASON – COOL, CRISP & DEVINE”

Look at the majestic oaks straight and tall,
And watch the leaves and acorns drop, when called to fall,
“Watch out below,” cried an acorn in flight,
As it sailed on a blustery wind – tumbling out of sight,
“Don’t put that foot down there; I’ll give you a ride to your tail,
As you walk and admire the colors of the season along the trail,
God has caught your eye,
Inspired your thoughts – the cool horizon’s sky,
The sun is setting on another day,
As we perhaps, review each moment along the way,
The crisp air awakens body and soul; memories unfold,
As a little acorn reminds us of perils small, but bold,
A little acorn responding to fall’s call,
Reminding us to watch our step, before we fall,
Reminding us that the strong and tall can tumble too,
In the form of a part of the whole,
When the devil succeeds and you pay the toll,
“So, little acorn, thanks for the warning,”
From dawning to dawning, yawning ‘til morning,
I’ll keep it in mind, and watch my step – walk the fine line,

“ENJOY THE SEASON – COOL, CRISP & DEVINE”
