“A LOVELY BLUE SKY”

 It’s rainin’!  It’s rainin’!
But I’m not complainin’,
It’s good for the plants; it’s good for the trees.
It’s good for the birds and bees,
Not to mention the “you’s and me’s,”
It keeps the reservoirs at their peak,
And fills the barrels, without a leak,
Smile on; let the raindrops fall,
Spring will come and grass will grow tall,
It’s rainin’!  It’s rainin’!
But I’m not complainin,
I’d rather be wet, than bone, barren dry,
For later, I’ll have something to look forward to,
