HE IS RISEN
First comes the joy of waving palms, the Halleluiahs and praise,
The Ancients in need celebrated one of those thankful, glorious days,
Then suddenly there came the painful darker days of grief,
The hours of agony, before that moment of ecstasy – joyful relief,
Home again to sit at His Father’s side – adorned in triumphant light,
Shining for all to see in a special brilliance bright,
Shouting for all to hear, “Your sins are forever forgiven,”
this morn, every morn,
But especially each Easter dawn,
So, look within and without and up to the heavens above,
Our faith is once again strengthened, renewed by God’s Son…His blessing –
His greatest gift of love,
