“OH, GOD! THANK YOU SO,
FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL GIFT FROM ABOVE”
How can we thank you for your most gracious generosity?
Life with all its wonders,
Faith with your most precious Son’s freedom from sin,
The month of May – spring – flowers – Mother’ Day,
Ah, Yes, Mother’s Day with all its beauty, glory and meaning,
Better still – the gift itself,
The one that never stops giving,
How many times throughout my lifetime have I said with thanks –
“Oh, Mother mine,
Thank you God, what a gift divine,”
Every day I lift my pen, dip it in the ink,
Await God’s word to share with the world what I think,
No vocabulary is deep enough to express what should be said,
The eyes, the smiles, the doing from morning to night – breakfast to bed,
Oh, Mother, I have been blessed beyond belief, more than I deserve – you are a treasure,
Always, you touch my life, my heart; you are beyond great joy and pleasure,
A Mother is the loveliest of gifts – a stunning portraiture of warmth and love,
